as the temperatures lower and the cold snap starts to hit, we are thrilled to showcases the winter collection of otto & spike beanies, scarves and blankets.

a little background info on otto & spike
they admire well made, well designed stuff, that you'll love to wear on your head, around your neck and out on the town. they use a combination of beautiful pure lambs wool and the best technical man made fibres. what they make consumes very little. this is because most of the yarn and wool they use is surplus supplies.

we are excited to introduce you to the winter collection of KATIE HOSKING and thought you may enjoy reading a little background information on the label. enjoy . . .

for Katie Hosking, fashion is not about following fad trends, but creating her own unique and timeless style. growing up on philip island in victoria, she moved to melbourne to study fashion design.

after having successfully completed her studies, she began work in the fashion industry. she spent the next ten years working as a head designer for three leading melbourne based companies, spending all her birthdays on an aeroplane whilst travelling the global fashion circuit. her experience in women's apparel, youth apparel and accessories formed the stepping stones to the beginning of the KATIE HOSKING label.

in 2007 she took the leap of faith to pursue her lifelong dream of her own label. using her passion for prints and gift for design, katie developed a collection of unique print designs applied to a range of high quality australian and new zealand sourced fabrics - including wool, silk and cotton using current and reliable printing and dyeing techniques. the range is wholly australian made and owned alowing katie to ensure the highest quality in every process of making each item.

make the opportunity to meet these pieces with tonal stripes, lace, prints, shimmer . . . the KATIE HOSKING WINTER 2010 collection is sure to tempt and even delight!

it is always an absolute delight to open the boxes and discover the gems of emily's hard work with the new seasons nancybird collection.

this season is instantly a personal favourite of mine with the sumptuous palette of autumnal colours and stunning graphics and intricate detailing. (all of which she has come to be known for)
